    Cedars of Lebanon, oldest multimillenary Cedar trees! The Cedars of God is one of the last vestiges of the extensive forests of the Lebanon cedar that once thrives across mount Lebanon in ancient times. Their timber was exploited by different old civilizations.
    It is also the town of Bsharre, birthplace of Gibran Khalil Gibran, the famous author of the prophet.
    Currently, the forest is rigorously protected. It is possible to tour it escorted by authorized guide.
