LARNAKA, 13 (PEL) Dinner in honor of the visit of Governor of District 2452, Mr. Michel Jazzar to the Rotary Clubs of Larnaca, Larnaca and Larnaca - Kition, was held at the Sun Hall Hotel in Larnaca.
The Governor had a meeting with the Presidents and the Boards of the Clubs where they discussed the present situation of the Clubs and their future plans for offering to the city and the wider community.
An official dinner and talk was held by the Governor on issues of both the District 2452 and the Rotary Clubs of Cyprus as well as information on upcoming conferences.
At the same time, in the presence of the Governor, the Rotary Club of Larnaca proceeded with the admission of a new member.
RI District 2452 is comprised of 83 Rotary Clubs and more than 2,500 Rotarians and includes Armenia, Georgia, Palestine, Bahrain, Jordan, Sudan, Cyprus, Lebanon, and United Arab Emirates.
The dinner was attended by the Mayor of Larnaca, Mr. Andreas Vira, where he was awarded an honorary plaque, as well as the Democrat Larnaca MP, Mr. Annita Demetriou.
