jointly celebrate Rotary International 114 years Anniversary
All four Rotary clubs in Bahrain jointly organised a social evening to celebrate the 114th year Anniversary of Rotary International at the Le Med restaurant in the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Wednesday 20th February 2019. The clubs involved in organising the event were Rotary club of Manama, Rotary club of Sulmaniya, Rotary club of Adliya and Rotaract club of Bahrain. The social evening was a long night of an open buffet dinner, international mix of music, dancing, raffle draw with prizes and concluded with a cake cutting. The Rotaract club of Bahrain helped the Rotary clubs in organising the event, their youthful energy helped make the event a success. Over one hundred and ten people attended, which includes Rotary members and their guests. A couple of special guests attended who were the US Ambassador H.E. Mr Justin Siberell, the UN resident Coordinator H.E. Mr Amin El Shakrani and local media mogul George Middleton. The committee worked very hard to make the evening a success for all guests. The 114th year Anniversary shows that the legacy of Rotary International is long lasting due to the message of friendship and fellowship all over the world. The Rotary has a strong history in Bahrain and with its continual support of the local community it will hopefully continue for many years to come.
